Farewell Katie #1

This post is dedicated to a great friend, my other half i suppose or just my unbiological sister as we call each other. Her name is Katie Groves, but most people know her as Katie Number One and I'm Katie Number Two. The real story how we got those name was, Katie (1) Groves was born before me (Feb 20th) meanwhile, i was born (Mar 20th).

I met Katie through the Humber Facebook back in August 2008. I don't think i ever met someone who had so many crazy similarities as i did. Not only we had many things in common, we had the same name! Well technically, my real name is KAITLYNN, but you can call me Katie. Although we are in a different program. I am taking Fashion Arts and Katie was taking Nursing. But other than that, our similarities are:

1. We both have the same name
2. We both were born on the same number, different month
3. We both have the same middle name
4. People actually thought we could be sisters by appearance
5. We both have the same dislikes and likes about many things
and the list could go on

The real tragic story is: Katie recently left Humber college, which of course affected everyone and by everyone i mean:

Mike Major
Jasmine Davis
Danny Cortes
Tim Charlton
Matt Johnson

That was our main Humber Group of Friends. But I'm sure there is a lot more people who knew Katie. So what is there to know about Katie? Well, she was a great friend, she knew how to party like a rockstar which is important these college days because that is what most people are doing on their weekends. She has a great personality, of course, a great boyfriend as I call him "Marvatie". You know, add Marvin to Katie and you get "Marvatie". Oh and most important, she had two stylist advisors name Katie (ME!) and Jasmine Davis. Always digging out her closet or should we say mine? Both of them probably have at least 10 pairs of items i have given them.
I tend to shop too much for useless items and then realize i am never going to wear them again.

But that's not the end of the story of journey for all of us. She does only live 20 minutes away from me. Thank God!
But I've learned that, your college friends become a kind of family. You eat together, and have movie nighters, you laugh; you cry; you fight; you do absolutely nothing together until you cannot seem to remember how you ever lived your life without them.
Well that's it for now.
Take Care!
